HOW DO I RESERVE MY PARTY DATE?

Please go to "Step 1" at the top of our homepage and we will call you or email you back to discuss the details. Then you can move to "Step 2" to pay your deposit. You may also contact us by email or phone at 781-710-1118.

A non-refundable deposit will be required to hold your party date. Deposit amounts vary depending on scope and customization of your event. You can easily pay your deposit on our website. We accept Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard. This deposit will go towards the cost of your party which will be paid in full on the day of your party (checks made out to "Princess Sharon"). You may also pre-pay for your event in its entirety prior to the party by PayPal, or credit card.

WHERE CAN MY PARTY OR EVENT BE HELD AND WHEN WILL PRINCESS SHARON AND/OR HER STAFF ARRIVE?

All Parties can be held in your own home, at or at your special event location. We can recommend various rental venues including Upstairs on the Square restaurant in Cambridge, Ritz Carlton Boston, Indian Pond Country Club, and more. Please ask for more information. You will be responsible for communicating with the venue, unless we arrange something different.

We will arrive approximately 1.5-2.5 hours before the party to set up and we will stay for about an hour or less to clean up after the party. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SPEAK WITH YOUR VENUE ABOUT THIS.

Princess Sharon herself attends most events, however, some of our parties, such as our Spa-Berry Twist events, may be fully attended and run by our wonderful staff.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AS THE PARENT/CAREGIVER?

You will need to provide any extra decorations or food that is not included your event package. We also suggest that you let us know what you will serve so that we can prepare the rest of the table appropriately. Ask us-we are happy to help you with ideas and suggestions if you would like to prepare your own food! We will rinse our dishes at the end of each party so you will need to have a kitchen space and sink for us to work in. We do not customarily remove trash unless discussed prior to the event.

All decor (large or hanging items) are contingent upon the setup and layout of the home or event space.

PLEASE LET US KNOW what size and shape your tables and chairs are so that we can bring the right table linens. If you are renting tables, 6 or 8 foot banquet rectangular tables are ideal (we can also arrange rental for you- ask us). Folding adult OR child's chairs work perfectly.

Parents are responsible for children at ALL times and must be present in the event room. We are there to provide entertainment and decor but children are not to be left unattended.

If you have siblings or other children that participate in the party in any way, the additional child fee will apply and will be added to your bill at the end of the party. Infants and children under two, however, don't count (we love them, but won't charge you for them!)

Corner or area for garment rack (any spot will do!)

Dining, kitchen, or rented tables for guests to eat at (we provide chair covers that will fit almost any dining or folding chair).

Gift spot or table, if desired

Table or area or floor for craft (floor works perfectly though!) If we are bringing cookie house decorating project (fairy or castle), you will need a second table for this, with our without chairs (standing or sitting is fine.) We can also, if space is an issue, clear the tea table to do this cookie house craft.

Place for Princess Sharon to do music and games (we can work with almost any space!)

Place for Princess Sharon to face paint (small table or island is fine with two chairs)

Clean-up after party includes general clean-up of our goods and tableware but not vacuuming, sweeping or deep cleaning. You are responsible for trash bags.

Dining or kitchen table for face masks and eating (you can use two separate tables or we can combine onto one table).

A place for about 3 mini-pedicures. We provide pink butterfly fuzzy chairs for girls to sit in. They can be used for pedicures OR used in ADDITION to a couch or other spot for a lounge area depending on space available.

Area for girls to lie on their spa mats. If there is room, each girl can have a spa mat. If not, we will put a few mats down and do "station" rotations. BOTH ways are fun!!

Clean-up after your party includes general clean-up of our goods and tableware but not vacuuming, sweeping, or deep cleaning. You will be responsible for trash bag removal.

WHAT SHOULD CHILDREN WEAR?

Girls should wear leotards and boys regular clothing for princess/pirate parties. For our Spa-Berry Twist party all girls wear regular clothing. For our Diva Glam and Poodle parties girls can wear jeans and leotards, bathing suits, and/or leggings, as we wear "hipster tutus" over jeans/leggins, tanks, and hair bands.

ARE BOYS WELCOMED?

YES! Boys are always welcomed! Please advise us ahead of time of how many boys will be in attendance so that we can plan accordingly. AT PRINCESS SHARON EVENTS GIRLS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME TO BE PIRATES OR OTHER TYPICALLY "BOY" CHARACTERS, AND LIKEWISE, BOYS MAY BE DIVAS OR PRINCESSES!! :D

HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN I INVITE?


We can accommodate any number of guests. Please contact us for details and explanations of how larger events work best. There may be an additional charge for party assistants if needed.

WHEN DO I NEED A FINAL HEAD COUNT?

3-5 days before the event. The final bill is based on the advance head count. You are still responsible for payment for all guests in the head count even if they do not show up to the event. We take time to prepare in advance for the number of guests expected. If there are unexpected guests or siblings we will do our BEST to accommodate but may not be able to. The added per child cost will then be added to the final bill.

ARE THERE TRAVEL FEES OR OTHER FEES OR SURCHARGES?

Travel fees apply outside a 20 mile radius of Cohasset, Massachusetts based on Google maps. The fee is $1.00 per mile over that, each way. If you are having a custom event or add-ons to your party, or if you require extra staffing, an additional (% of total) service charge may apply. Sundays often are very limited and also may incur a service charge. If you have a chocolate fountain at your party, that is NOT brought and attended by us, there will be a $75 surcharge for cleaning of linens and gowns and staff services necessary. There are also a delivery fees on both catering and cakes. Please ask for an invoice prior to your event. Our aim is to inform you, not to surprise you! :)

DO I NEED TO PROVIDE PARKING FOR PRINCESS SHARON EVENTS AND STAFF?

Yes, there will need to be a parking spot close to the main entrance to the home or event venue, and another spot close by for our assistant. If there are any fees associated for parking or valet is needed, Princess Sharon Events and staff will need to be reimbursed for that. Please provide parking information before the event date.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR POSTPONE MY PARTY?

We will try to work with you to reschedule your party to another day that works for both of us. The deposit is non-refundable, but it can be applied towards another party. Weekends are often booked far in advance but we will do our best.

WHAT IF PRINCESS SHARON HAS TO POSTPONE?


Princess Sharon will do everything in her Princess Power to make your party happen on your scheduled day. However, there may be unforeseen circumstances such as very bad weather or illness which may require the postponement of your event.
Princess Sharon will do her best to accommodate your schedule and arrange another party date for you. Weekends are often booked far in advance but we will do our best. If no date can be agreed upon, you WILL receive a full refund of deposit. We are nice here at the Royal Palace...

WHAT IS YOUR LIABILITY POLICY?

Customer agrees to hold and keep harmless Princess Sharon, its agents and employees from any and all property damages and/or bodily injury damage caused by the customer’s guests, or other persons attending party. Customer agrees to not hold Princess Sharon, it's agents and employees responsible for inclement weather or other acts of God that may cause the cancellation of the party. Should something of this nature cause the cancellation of the party, Princess Sharon shall apply any remaining monies due to another party date and location that is mutually agreeable to both parties. In the event of damage or loss of Princess Sharon's inventory and or damage or loss at the party’s location, the financial responsibility lies entirely with the client. You, as the Client, also assume all liability and responsibility for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction or illness stemming from the menu, wearing of costumes, makeup or any activity taken place before, during or after the party. By placing your deposit, customer agrees to allow Princess Sharon Events and it's employees and contracted help to use photos of the customer and the customer's child, who may be under 18 years of age in any advertising, website, newsletters, and all types of media.

MORE ON ALLERGIC AND MEDICAL REACTIONS

It will be your responsibility to check with your guests for any food allergies and to inform us of any concerns BEFORE the event (3-5 days ahead). If a guest should have severe allergies that we are unable to accommodate then either you or the child’s parent should provide alternate refreshments for that child. Our events are NOT guaranteed to be totally nut free. We do NOT use any nuts in our food as ingredients, but we cannot guarantee that there are no traces of nuts used in cooking equipment or in the facilities where our food is prepared.
